Paralia Sarakina is a quiet, scenic southern extension of the long sandy beach of Paralia Eleochoriou just 8 km east from Ofrynio Beach and roughly 1.2 km from Eleochorio village . Known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, coarse sand, and relaxed vibe, it features popular spots like Paloma Beach Bar and offers a peaceful alternative to some nearby more crowded locations. Sarakina means "place of the Saracens," named after historical Arab pirates who used the hidden coves as a secret refuge. The beach is a mix of coarse sand and small pebbles with deep, clear water right near the edge. Equipped with organised beach bar sections, sunbeds and umbrellas, while still retaining plenty of open space for privacy.
